An antagonist in Bradamante & The Paladins who will definitely be given more presence in future drafts. A Moorish King of Spain and father of Fierabras and Floripas. While a man of great rage who wants to annihilate Charlemagne and all who ally with him, he does it because he feels that he stole his children. He truly loves his children, who were born of his favorite wife. Fierabras was seen as a monster by almost everyone, but Balan kept him alive and encouraged him to become a warrior. Florpias, he referred to as his most beautiful gem. He's a man of great anger...but also of great love.
