Grimmwoods Psyche reference

Considering it's Valentine's Day, I figured...what the heck? YES, she's designed to be a bit...fanservice-y. And she WILL play part in a bit of a brick joke.

In the Heroic Age, there was once a princess named Psyche. Considered to be beautiful, far more beautiful than the likes the world had seen before, from Shamhat to Medusa, even moreso than the Olympian goddess of sex and beauty, Aphrodite. This earned her ire and she sent her child, Eros (who was also the incarnation of the primordial force of love that the gods feared) to make her fall in love with a hideous monster in vengeance. Eros went to fulfill this duty, but was taken by her beauty. Rather than curse her, he invited her to his palace...unknowingly, since he couldn't reveal himself to her. Eventually, her jealous sisters convinced her to take a look at Eros while he slept. When this was revealed, she saw him and fell in love with him on sight...unfortunately, Eros was forced to flee. Wishing to remain with him, she went on several adventures, doing impossible tasks and even going to the Underworld. Proving herself worthy, she and Eros were married and she was allowed to ascend to godhood, becoming the Olympian goddess of the soul.

She's someone of great beauty, but doesn't try to flaunt it. In life, she found it to be more of a bother than anything, bringing her inconvenience. She'd rather spend her time doing personal projects (like the time she reorganized an entire temple, single-handed). She also tries to not lose sight of her mortal origins, hence why she dresses like the people of Olympia during the Heroic Age. Since her ascension, she and her mother-in-law have had a...tense relationship, since Aphrodite went out of her way to inconvenience her. However, her love for Eros hasn't dimmed in the millennia that have passed since their marriage. She maintains contact while he's gone and often sends him pictures of her in...certain positions. It's said that men who see her like that aren't quite the same afterwards...

Her position of goddess of the soul is rather vaguely defined and, as such, her full abilities are quite unknown. She IS often heralded by her symbol of the butterfly, whose wings she grew after ascending.
