Description
Concept History: Dragon Rider was one of the three characters made for The Metallix. My brothers and I made them based on ourselves and Dragon Rider was based on me. Originally, he was named Duelist and had powers based on Yu-Gi-Oh...which naturally didn't pan out. I used Protoman from Megaman as a bit of a template for his appearance and decided to give him a glider. The rest played out much like this. I decided to make him a Korean-American because...well, need more of those and I've got a Korean-American friend.

Name: Kim Joon
Age: 30
Personality: Born in Seoul, South Korea, raised in America, he's smart and he knows it, so he tends to present himself with a bit of arrogance and snark. He claims to be the Smartest Man on the Planet...a claim that he backs up at every opportune moment. He got his power during a reunion with his old college dorm-mates, which included Zane Wolf and Ryan Steel. However, when they went out for some drinks, they were infected by alien parasites, which mutated their DNA. Kim got out easier, since his exposure was minimal. However, he discovered that his IQ was dramatically increased, higher than any other point. As a result, he got his doctorate and began a company that began producing medical equipment. He later met with Ryan and Zane, discovering how they were altered and decided to join forces as a hero team, forming The Metallix. As Dragon Rider, Kim became their gear-handler, making and dealing with equipment to deal with their adventures. A side-effect to his intelligence was developing a peculiar form of Tourette Syndrome--when he's angered or stressed, he tends to twitch and babble in Korean.
